This week, Rambles and Ruminations is hosting the Department of State blog round-up. The theme is, naturally, resolutions, goals, dreams and plans for 2011. Please leave me a comment with your blog entry and I'll compile them into a post to be published Friday, January 7, 2011. I'm looking forward to everyone's thoughts on embracing a new year. I'm currently in the process of formulating my own ideas about how to make the most of 2011, so hosting the round-up is good motivation to actually put something down on paper, 'er keyboard.
Can't wait to read your submissions!

Hey Linsey!
One of my resolutions is to explore other healthy food options. We tend to be a meat loving family with very few vegetables. My husband is a firefighter, which means he is gone for 48 hour shifts. So my plan is to eat vegetarian-ish when BJ is at work. Not because I dislike meat, but because I need to eat more grains and veggies. I've been exploring quinoa and other whole grains and have LOVED IT!!!! I am excited to explore different healthy options & hope to lose some of the baby weight from Jake in the process.
ps Love your blog!!!
Well I must have read your mind! I'm all over that topic for the round-up. I'll make sure it's clearly obvious which post is for the round-up 'cause I already posted {on Sunday} about the New Year. And *seriously*?? Your cousin is 'made'?? I was so in love when she was celebrating yellow!
Here's my submission - thanks for hosting!

Cyberbones submission is up. Thanks for the push to get my resolutions post up, the way things are going around here it would have been February before I got around to it. LOL!

Thanks for doing the round up! My submission also comes with a request for some much needed advice from more experience FS families.
