For Posterity

Family photos are a hassle, but I'm always grateful after the fact.

2003 -- The beginning.  Neither one of us was a big picture taker and as such, we essentially have no record of our lives from this moment until Caleb was born.  Pity, because we did some fun things when we were just a couple.

2006 -- There's a formal one of the three of us too, but my only copy is framed on the wall, so this will have to suffice.

2007 -- Caleb was so sick and I was so very pregnant the day we posed for this, it's a miracle we ended up with any good shots.

2008 -- A blisteringly hot DC day.  We were soaked with sweat and surrounded by hoards of tourists -- not our most pleasant family photo shoot ever.

2009 -- An October weekend in Caracas.  This captures perfectly the best, and often only good, thing about living in Venezuela...the weather.

2010 -- Our most recent, and my favorite so far.

At least you have family pictures. We don't. And every time I think "Oh, we need to do that!" something happens to stop me. Argh!

Aw, I loved them all. You can't tell that little Caleb was sick in the 2007 one.

Is the wedding one taken with the famous tree at the SLC temple that was later destroyed by that freak twister? It is a great picture.
