Twins do not run in my family or in my husband's family so it's highly likely we won't be blessed with them. And, frankly, I'm not sad about this. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who raises twins (
Gabi,
Paige,
Heather,
Shally) or more (
Lorena) deserves at the very least a medal and probably automatic sainthood. One baby and one toddler at a time thus far is quite sufficient for me. However, one thing I do envy about twins, probably only because I don't have them, is the inherent justification for dressing them alike that comes with the package. Luckily though, Caleb is still small enough that he fits into many things made in toddler and baby sizes so I get to indulge my penchant for matching outfits. I'm sure someday my kids will look at these pictures and be completely annoyed with their mother and her all too frequent lapses into over the top cuteness - and especially her need to share it with the world wide web. But, I am convinced it would be criminal to squander cuteness of this caliber particularly when there are grandparents who delight in oohing and aahing over the subjects.
let the oohing and aahing begin
matching pajamas I bought for the summer that are already almost too
small for Isaac - guess that just means more matching outfits to come
it's hard to tell, but Caleb is laughing
all the admonitions to be gentle with the baby are paying off

i see nothing wrong with dressing them the same... now if you were too dress kenny in a matching outfit then i would wonder...
I cannot get over how much Caleb looks like Kenny and Isaac looks like you!
What cute pictures...and too cute pajamas! I love the CHINS on your baby!!
Lindsey! You are speaking my love language...matching outfits.
Even before I had twins, I dressed my older two in "Jack&Jill" matching outfits every chance I got.
To this day, the highlight of my life is getting all the boys to match and putting Em in a coordinating dress.
Little things make me happy...
p.s. Are you still doing your interview!!??
okay... those jamies are sooooo cute!
I did the same thing and my twins are three years apart also!!! More power to ya!!
Okay, too freaking adorable. I applaud not only your great taste in CUTE pjs, but that you went so far as to create a matching yellow backdrop for your photo shoot. Well done.
HOLY CRAP! So cute!!!
Love these- I kind of want a pair for myself. Would that be awkward?
By the way, I wish that it were "cooler" to match. I'd twinner it up with Heather any day of the year.
Those are the cutest pictures! Ohhhhhhhh...Ahhhhhhh!
Yeah, I don't know how mom's with twins do it but I love it when they make them match! Glad you got to match your kiddos! Seriously, so darling!
The matchiness is a disease. And you have it. I had it even before I had twins, so now it's out of control. Your boys and their jammies are adorable.
Love that it's gabi's love language. Can totally relate.
Hey, there is only so much we can control in their lives so live it up while you can.
OOOO And AHHHHHH!
Love the matchy-matchy!
Oh, I can't wait to do the matchy thing. Since I have a boy and a girl 5 years apart, it's been impossible. But I'm doing it with the next baby. Whatever the sex, I'm so doing it.
cute!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously.. I love having twins. And dressing them alike is SO DANG FUN.
I actually thought I would never do it. I hated dressing the same as my little sister growing up.
But too bad. They are too cute NOT to dress the same. I even put my 11month old in the same outfit when I can. My husband hates it-- but I think they look darling!
And I WISH that having twins= sainthood. I need all the help I can get... :)
So stinking cute and I love matching stuff. That is one of the joys of little kids...they go with it. I used to try to match my daughter but she put the cabosh on that at 8 yrs...sad day!
they are too cute! and yes, one day, he'll look back on these pictures, and...
;)
love your blog!
ARe you kidding?? Twins are so unnecessary for matchiness. I can't wait. And I totally feel your pain on the fish issue. Love it, and so intimidated to cook it. Not to mention buy it in this macky place that sells me something called "atun" that looks NOTHING like tuna!
I LOVED dressing my twins alike. I am completely convinced that kids clothing is even cuter in two's (twins, or not!)
I thought the matching itch was only found in the South!:) I'm glad to know it's all over....I plan on keeping my kiddos matching until their boyfriends or girlfriends ask me to stop!;)
Very cute. How could you be expected to resist dressing them alike?
too cute
Awesome for you!!! I've never gotten the whole need of dressing kids the same. But they are ADORABLE!!!!!!! Since Ryan's sisters are twins, now 23-years-old, I hear all the horror stories of mom trying to dress them alike when they were conscious of it. Not good!
