Caleb's First, First Day of School

We enrolled Caleb in preschool and today was his, and our, first day. We are very pleased with the school's curriculum and the location couldn't be better - right across the street from our apartment. The school requires first time students to be accompanied by their parents all day for the first 4 days. So, Kenny and I walked Caleb to school and then Kenny left me there to observe - or try to anyway. I did my best, but sometimes it was hard not to intervene when Caleb decided not to share or threw a tantrum when he didn't get his way. For the most part, he was very good and had a great time. I think he will enjoy preschool and we are happy that he has other children to play with and that he will spend 4 hours a day immersed in Spanish.

  8. School?! I'm totally jealous. We're doing a Parent Ed class with Lucy but it's only once a week and I have to stay the entire time. Again, I'm jealous. Can you tell I'm ready to ship off my kids for a few hours each day?!
Your hair looks really cute in the family photo. And I love how excited you and Kenny are, and how ho-hum the kids are. Perfect.

  14. He looks like the Caleb we used to know but he's so grown-up! He is quite handsome - but where's his cherub cheeks and head of downy fuzz? What a fun pre-school and awesome location! Beautiful family picture - I really like your hair, Linsey!
